Where to get your books?

Where will I get all these books? sounds EXPENSIVE!!
Here are some ideas:
  • A lot of libraries are set up to offer electronic versions of book titles through their website you can download a file that you can read on your computer screen or digital device, or the audio book which you can listen to on your mp3 player.
  • Double Day Book Club: if you join this site you can get 5 books for .99 plus the cost of shipping with an agreement to purchase 4 books from the site in the next 12 months.
  • BOMC2 (book of the month club):  this is a book club that sends you one book a month (of your choice) for 10 bucks, includes shipping pretty simple. The first book is free and you only commit to buy 3 books from the club.
  • Paperback Swap: trade your unwanted books for wanted books with other members of the site. Each book you send gives you a credit to request another book from someone else. No cost to join or swap, you do pay for shipping when sending out your books (you don’t have to pay shipping on the books you receive) Popular books will have a waiting list…
  • Swaptree: Another swapping site, I have not personally used this site but it is another book swap site. On this site the higher-demand books you give up will put you in line to receive higher-demand books from other members.
  • The thrift store – I have found a lot of good books in good condition at the thrift store. (Goodwill usually charges $1 and $2 for paperbacks and $3 for hardback)
  • Amazon usually has used versions available for good prices.
  • Borrow the book from someone else in the book club that has finished reading their copy.
With love,
Terrie

I once heard of a book store, it was a place that sells books. You can even get new ones at places like that…

I got an official library card for Weber County. Its in the ghetto…literally there is like library bums its there territory. So when I go there Larry has to come with me so I don’t get kidnapped but the card is fancy looking.
